We are Designed to Live Longer

Donna Rohlf, a Human Design analyst, shares her view that we are designed to live longer. We can learn from those who are well-functioning in their old age. In Donna's experience, these are people who are on their purpose in life. They know why they’re here, and they are aligned with their purpose. They are with joy. They are accepting and yet not passive.They demonstrate and express their gifts.

Julia: What else have you been working on?

I have been busily involved with deepening my understanding of the human design system. It is a study that was brought to me when I was still very tired from the effects of anesthesia. I slept a great deal and in between I was able to study this science called maia mechanics--the science of allowing life in form to unfold without resistance. I have come to see it as a tool for people to relax into themselves as their true DNA hard wired perfected nature emerges from correct decison making. It has vast implications not only for the future survival of humanity but also as a pathway beginning with the birth for sanctification to eventually take place. I have now studied this emerging science for close to 15 years.

The more I saw the helplessness of my life, the closer I came to my spiritual roots. This is what allowed me to surrender to the form and what appeared to be its death.

As I see it, life in form or matter is ascending while heaven above is descending into our cells. The only conclusion that Mary Baker Eddy understood was that ALL IS SPIRIT- EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY DAYNO MATTER WHAT IS HAPPENING. WHY NOT SURRENDER TO THE SOURCE THAT CREATED THE INDIVIDUATED PROCESS WE ALL GO THROUGH. I HAVE SEEN MIRACLE AFTER MIRACLE IN MY OWN LIFE- EVEN A RESURRECTION OF THE THREE AND A HALF POUND PAL, MATISSE WHO WAS BROUGHT TO ME BY MERE ACQUAINTENCES AFTER MY HUSBAND WHO I LOVED DEARLY PASSED. I DEEPLY KNEW IN EVERY CELL OF MY BODY THAT THERE WAS NOTHING GOING ON BUT THE LOVE OF SOURCE- KNOWING THAT PERFECTION HAS ALLOWED ME TO RELAX IN SO MANY SEEMING DISCORDANT SITUATIONS.

AND LO AND BEHOLD TEN MINUTES AFTER MY LOUD DECLARATIONS OF PRAISING GOD AND KNOWING ONLY GOD WAS AT WORK IN EVERY CELL OF HIS BODY, MY LITTLE FRIEND AWOKE FROM BEING A MASS OF BONES AND BLOOD IN THE STREET.

NEEDLESS TO SAY I HAD TO REMOVE MYSELF FROM ALL THE GENEROUS THOUGHTS OF OTHERS SAYING AND SEEING “ACCIDENT” I RAN FROM FROM THE PET AMBULANCES KNOWING THESE THOUGHT FORMS OF ACCIDENTS WAS THE DENSITY ILLUSIOIN ONLY. I KNEW MY PAL WAS FINE WHEREVER HE WAS AS I PICKED HIS CRUSHED BODY. I PUT HIM ON MY SHOULDER TO COMFORT HIM. AFTER TEN MINUTES OF PRAISING THE LVOING PRESENCE OF GOD I BEGAN TO FEEL THE DEEPEST PEACE. I KNEW ALL WAS WELL NO MATTER WHAT AND MATISSE, MY PAL AND COMPANION WAS WELL WHEREVER HE AS. I MUST ADMIT THOUGH THAT EVEN I WAS SURPRISED WHEN I COULD FEEL A SLIGHT MOVEMENT ON MY SHOULDER. MY SOUL WAS SO SO HAPPPY. I COULDN’T STOP CRYING EVEN THOUGH AT SOME LEVEL I HAD ALWAYS KNOWN ALL WAS PERFECT AND THIS WAS WHAT BROUGHT HIM BACK.

NOW I HAVE SOMETHING ELSE TO ADMIT- I HAD BEEN STUDYING HUAN DESIGN AS WELL AS CHRISTIAN SCINCE FOR THE PREVIOUS 5 YEARS. I WAS INTERESTED IN THE MIRACLES THIS WOMAN, MARY BAKER EDDY’S CONCIOUSNESS BROUGHT ABOUT. I HAD LEARNED ABOUT HER BOOK, SCIENCE AND HEALTH WITH KEYS TO THE SCRIPTURES -- IS A GIFT TO HUMANITY-- THAT GOD’S LOVING OMNIPRESENCE IS ALWAYS PRESENT AND IT EXISTS WITHIN US. HUMAN DESIGN OF COURSE VERIFIES ALL OF THIS. I OFTEN STUDIED AT THE READING ROOM OF CHRIISTIAN SCIENCE ON 68 STREET AFTER MY VERY CLOSE CALL WITH DEATH. THIS BEAUTIFUL CHURCH WAS ON THE CORNER OF 68 ST AND CPW AND I HAD WALKED MY DOGS EACH DAY PAST IT AND FOR THE PREVIOUS TWENTY THREE YEARS AS I PRACTICED ON 60 WEST 68 STREET.

I ALWAYS FELT A PEACE KNOWING THERE WAS A SAFE HAVEN THERE FOR THOSE WANTING TO LEARN ABOUT THE VEIL AND CHAINS OF THIS PROCESS CALLED LIFE. I THOUGHT PERHAPS CS WAS A CULT THOUGH AND THEREFORE NEVER ENTERED THE READING ROOM

THEN IT BECAME CLEAR THAT SOMETHING IN THE SPACE BETWEEN THE NOTES WAS RUNNING MY LIFE. I TOOK THE PLUNGE ANDTHE FIRST DAY I VENTURED IN I ASKED SILENTLY TO BE SHOWN IF THERE WAS ANYTHING HERE FOR ME. I OPENED HER BOOK AND MY EYES WENT RIGHT TO A PARTICULAR SENTENCE.....

WOW TRULY AMAZING IN ITS EFFECT UPON ME AS I HAD COMPLETELY HELD MYSELF RESPONSIBLE FOR SO MANY OF THE LOSSES INCLUDING A MILLION DOLLARS INVESTED WITH SOMEONE I TRUSTED!

HERE IN THIS SENTENCE WAS A DECLARATION THAT ALL THESE THINGS HAPPENED FOR THE GOOD, FOR MY GROWTH IN SPIRIT. BELIEVE ME I FOUND FEW AT THAT TIME-1N 1999- THAT SAW IT AS GOOD. MY FAMILY OF ORGIN PRACTICALLY DISOWNED ME- STILL ANOTHER GROWTH PROCESS FOR ME.

I had helped people as a jack of all trades psychoanalyst for many years. I also used flower essence therapy to help people use flowers, rather than medication on the few occasions that medication was needed. As a person who learned early that there was no science in the conceptual frameworks of psychotherapy. I was continually ready for new learnings including the enneagram, pranic and esoteric healing etc. As my Human Design map would later tell me, I was a jack of all trades knowing quite a bit about many holistic modalities, but not an expert in any one.. Then one day a friend and I celebrated leaving behind any more new age learning. We celebrated by doing our last gathering with Colin Tipping, a wonderful minister who wrote Radical Forgiveness. He compared different ways of seeing seemingly hurtful situations-the worldly mortal ways as compared to spiritual ways. It was a freeing day for us. It lasted not more than 24 hours!!

My friend Barbara Ditlow was tested. She met Peter Roth of The Heart River Healing School, at a NYCitiworks gathering and he introduced her the following Friday to HUMAN DESIGN. While unsure about this translation of the DNA of consciousness, she felt a certain relief when he said “aren’t you sick and tired of the exhaustion you have been carrying for lifetimes? It was quite remarkable how he could tune into this without knowing anything overtly about her or her life. I knew her as an amazing being who came from four generations of Christian Science healers.

Having only started my journey with Christian Sceince a few years earlier, I trusted her take on her reading with Peter and had one of my own. We still laugh at how our promise was not kept. Yet as I look back on it I clearly see that HD is not a new age phenomena but an enormous emerging biological genetic science that I sense will one day replace psychotherapy and psychiatry as we know it.

I went and had a reading with Peter and it was quite different. He went thru every frequency of consciousness that I inherently carried in my hard wiring. It struck a deep cord yet it was overstimulating. It seemed more simple to trust God as Good. I couldn’t quite get it. It felt more dense than my Christian Science teachings of the law of Spirit. Yet at the same time it gave me enormous tolerance for others and a way to see things in which one might not take most of life personally. Another student of HD, began dropping off teachings to me once or twice a week and before I knew it Barbara and I had signed up for a week in Martha’s Vineyard with one of the few HD world teachers. He was Ed Stanton, a friend of Timothy Leary at Harvard. We began a 7 day class with another personal reading and then learned the ABC’s of HD. It was a new more relaxed way of learning to which I had never been exposed. Ed often did not show up for class. I and Barbara had many rules and judgments about all this and it was a big learning for me as we entered the HD classes in different parts of the world. It made me grow up and see the teachings as separate from the design of the teacher. I, in the past would have discarded the teachings from such a seeming unreliable source. Yet the teachings of this emerging science were riveting. They contained truth about the vehicle we inhabit- bringing a strong body to those who follow their birth perfection imprint. The purpose of course is to serve the soul purpose for an incarnation. This consciousness that moves thru our vehicle can be seen in human design. It is unconscious and the first time an unconscious can be seen. I knew it had vast promise for the future of a planet destined to see things through a spiritual eye Poetry began moving out of me about it. I hadn’t written poetry since grammar school. It was one amazing cup of tea for a former psychoanalyst. All of this, led to my strong inclination to give up my practice to make room for this new teaching. Many advised me to keep making money from my practice but the values I’m wired with wouldn’t allow it. Most of my colleagues, my family and some friends acted as though I had lost my mind. The strength to go my own path was in store- another growing up step for a person like me who is loyal to a fault. Any hardship that showed itself was quickly overcome as I continued to study HD and test it out on so many. I would do 5 hour readings in the beginning- much for my own learning. As the universe would provide- it was some Christian Scientists that provided the backing for my continued passion for HD and what I began to see it could do for humanity hundreds of years from now. It is essentially behavioral genetics. Within each of us there is a code that when lived correctly can diminish most of the suffering we each go through. All of my years of a strong belief system in good conditioning became intertwined with hard wiring. For a number of years, this was a roadblock but I persevered thru it to a sense of balance. I see clearly that HD can lead the way into sacred parenting by deep deep understanding of a child”s perfection. This begins at birth and I have set up an educational site called wwwnewbornparentalportal.com. for the public. Were it not for HD I do not believe I would have been able to accept my daughter unconditionally as she entered adolescence. Understanding her very unique design allowed me to relax through this tumultuous time.I was reassured that her hard wired values would never stop from guiding her.

Another factor that went into my seduction into design was a tape someone shared with me by the receiver of HD- An exceptionally intelligent man called Ra Uru Hu who had been downloaded with the science of life in the illusion of form. He saw HD as a global synthesis of five different metaphysical sciences including the Kabbala, the I Ching, and the 9 Hindu Chakra system. It is perhaps the very first time metaphysics and science have met as one.

He described so perfectly what happened to me at 50. I was fascinated by the tape. He described not only post polio symptoms but why and how it arises around 50 years of age give or take a few years. This was in 1999 before most doctors even knew about post polio. I RELAXED AS I LEARNED ABOUT MYSELF IN GREAT DEPTH THRU THE DNA FREQUENCIES OF CONSCIOUSNESS. So many gifts I had that were hard wired, unconscious and not being enjoyed fully.

It was simply amazing to me that we all boil down to amino acids and they have a very very specific role in evolution. It gave me a reason to live in that it was the most exciting discovery of my life. It explained things that nothing else did. Contrary to many others, it pleased me that this information came through a “voice”

Even though I had studied and practiced psychoanalytic psychotherapy for 30 years, this practical science seemed to me to be the miracle of the millennium. It put together missing links and gave me a wider and more cosmic understanding of humanity, where we are, where we are going and the way people can be taught to get back to their true nature for free. It shows how people can outflank the genetic pulls on them that make them suffer in relationships, what they are here to remember and learn, and lastly how to communicate sacredly in the illusory maya, namely bringing heaven to earth. This is enough to cure humanity of its unintelligent fearful ways.

( not sure about this--One of the ways I appreciated Ra as he spoke of fear- he called it an opening to become more intelligent. It reflects his complete and utter acceptance and equal tolerance for all beings. After all is said and done, we all have places in our DNA where we can become more intelligent!!)

We are all born to wear a particular costume- custom made- if we operate the vehicle in the illusion correct. IF YOU ARE CORRECT FROM A DESIGN STANDPOINT, YOU GET TO BE LIBERATED FROM THE FORM PRINCIPLE. YOU DON’T HAVE TO STRUGGLE WITH FORM, YOU CAN SIMPLY GO ALONG WITH IT, ALLOW IT ITS WAY THROUGH CORRECT DECISIONS. AT SOME LEVEL TO SURRENDER TO THE FORM IS TO SET UP THE CONDITIONS FOR YOUR LIBERATION FROM IT.

THE MORE HUMANITY SEES THE HELPLESSNESS OF THEIR LIVES, THE CLOSER WE GET TO KNOWING THE SPIRITUAL NATURE OF LIFE. On 9/11 we saw so much of this-as people felt the helplessness of their lives the closer they got to their spiritual nature allowing them to help one another. It allowed us to focus our mind on helping others-knowoing the other is ourselves. I remember so vividly the outpouring of Love that day as I participated much of the day in a yoga teacher training class.

The more I ponder it seems to me that Human Design is humanity’s first glance at a NO FAULT LIVING MANUAL, ONLY KNOWN PREVIOUSLY TO GOD.

IT MAKES ONE WONDER IF EVOLUTION MAY BE THE GRACE GIVEN PLAN FOR CREATING HUMANKIND. THIS PRINCIPLE, THIS TAO WHICH CAN KNOW ITSELF IS WRITTEN IN THE ORGANISM’S CODE.

We can either live it out cleanly and correctly with a decision making strategy that secures our footing no matter what happens out there or we can fumble and have very unnecessary suffering.

After following my design I see life from a stronger witness perspective, watching the beauty of the mundane- washing dishes etc. There is no question that Life is spiritual. I laugh so much now watching the movie of mine and other lives thru a knowledge of the code and the frequencies we carry. While psychoanalysis and psychotherpay brings the witness forward also,- it is called there an “observing ego” it is not as strong for me as it is from following the dictates of my design through a decision making strategy. I have a strategy of WAITING and then WAITING AND SLEEPING ON THINGS DUE to the emotional chemistry that runs through my body. This chemistry shifts throughout my existence in form making me see things differently over time. Time and patience therefore are my very best friends and bring much depth to the solutions that emerge from resulting clarity. Had Robin Williams who was emotional had a Human Design mantra of “NO TRUTH IN THE NOW”, he may well still be with us.

Emotional Beings have no business making big decisions on their up or down chemistry. It will be so easy to move humanity forward when we are taught whether we are emotional or not in kindergarten. It is the single most important element in allowing the higher Self to float our boats!

If one is designed like me, they will live out a genetic tri partite life process. All of the people who had polio had this frequency. This genetic process includes a shift from subjectivity from 0 -28 years-give or take a few years on either side of this- to objectivity from 28-50 years, to transcendence after 50- being neither subjective, nor objective but a transcendent wiitness. If one is not on their path, they are in for a big surprise- the very kind that I had. Some people physically die around 50 if they fight “coming off the roof of objectivity”. This was one of the most astounding discoveries of my life. So many people fight the process and suffer as a result. While I had always been interested in the spiritual and had been a part of the transpersonal psychology movement, I saw this emerging science of perfected Being as a large jump. I felt so many people could be helped by knowing how an energy imprint of their uniqueness could allow them to make correct individuated decisions making for a life with little suffering and a life that would bring humanity back to its innate Source or the true embodiment of Spirit as All.

I began what is now a 15 year process of studying human design, the genetic frequencies that make us up and that determine where our individual genius can be found. Human Design, and its offshoots in Gene Keys, and Integral Human Design all turn out to be beautiful higher self tools, bringing confidence to those ready to integrate the power of their individuated inner authority. People can choose to make correct decisions based on their differentiation. I do sense however that is is important to work with the original HD brought through by Ra URU HU first.

It feels to me like we are the flags, each human being a pole unto themselves. As each person reaches and lives their differentiation, they become their own law, coming into union within themselves. It is the true collaboration of the unconscious and conscious gifts The actualized sacred human is born. This game of diversity brings us right back to Unity. What an astounding evolutionary ride! It was the most amazing discovery of my life.

J: What does Human Design teach about getting older?

D: Human Design shows us that the wheels of life that control the planet are moving us towards longer life in form.People will complete purpose well after 50. Mary Baker Eddy was a wonderful example of someone who lived out her purpose. When most of humanity was dying between 30-40, she lived till 88. Her most important contribution came in the Christian Science Monitor- a news publication grounded in balance- at age 84. We’re designed to live longer as we operate correctly. We can all learn from those who are well-functioning in their old age. In my experience, these are people who are on their purpose in life. They know why they’re here, and they are aligned with their purpose. Many of them are not trying to make anything happen. They know the power of waiting and seeing what life brings. They are with joy. They are accepting and yet not passive. This brings out a certain radiance of light within them.

Children will take longer to grow up, and most people will only come into their fulfillment after 50. I am a perfect example of this. I thought I was dying at 50 but in reality I was just being born into the real work of this life. Once when I was close to death I went to a local Japanese restaurant for lunch at 3:30 when it was close to empty. One day another man sat across from me which was unusual. He came over to my table before he left and asked if I knew that all my energy was draining out of me. He could literally see the death that was upon me. He was a Siberian healer from many generations of healers. He felt an imperative to be of service. He asked if he could spend a day with me and my daughter which was very touching as he had a long way to travel. I experienced a deep love coming from this man who had deep empathy for my life situation. He did a Siberian healing ceremony which included having a candle melt above my crown chakra. He then read the form that emerged. It was abundantly clear that what emerged for me was an embryo. There and then I knew I might live in the physical but had no doubt that I could also have a new birth if I passed out of this body. It again was literally the SSS, seeming stranger support that aided my process and set the stage for the surprise visit from the pathologist.

I might add that there was still another strangers who literally saved my life after my husband passed away. Two acquaintances, insisted that I needed a dog. I protested but was finally weakened over several months when they convinced me my daughter, an only child, needed a companion. They also presented me one Saturday morning with a 4 lb Chinese Crested who had the birth date of my deceased husband. They went to California to find him. With this kind of love, how could I resist. To this very day I am so grateful to those that found this amazing creature and the breeder, Carol Montgomery who sent him. This dog whose name is Matisse has been an amazingly unconditionally loving companion. His unconditionally loving energy has been a crucial part of my ability to survive. People get quite a laugh seeing him carry SashiFlags through Central Park each day on a mobile unit along with another companion who is albino white, Chubacha.

The general lifespan is now about 84 and rising. A study of those older than that that are high functioning would give many clues I suspect. My mother who passed at 94 was very active and closely aligned with what she loved in life. There was aliveness there. She played lots of card games. She remained active in service to others just as many of her friends in their 90’s. One of them once admitted to dancing around naked each morning. Perhaps this is another key- living each moment in ecstasy!! This same woman had a deep spiritual connection. She would pray that God would give her Pope John’s pain and illness! Wow!

J: So many people picture the joy of retirement after 50 as staying at home and playing golf. And you are talking about people who will begin doing their most important work after 50! We have the example of Frank Lloyd Wright finishing up the Guggenheim museum at 91, but those are the rare examples of geniuses…

D: All of us now have the potentiality of going within to find the genius within. All of us have the capacity to tap into it! Richard Rudd who wrote the book, “Gene Keys- Unlocking your Higher Purpose Hidden in your DNA is hosting classes online I believe.

We do need to increase our skills in being able to tap into this genius, and I think the educational system is lagging behind in its ability to bring it out. I sometimes wonder in part if autism has arrived to show us how to tap into the genius within. The importance of contemplation along with an understanding of how we are constructed mechanically in quantum physics can be very helpful. Human Design is the latter and Richard Rudd’s work with gene keys is the former. Actually, human design is taught in some Rudolf Steiner schools as science for many years now. There is much work to be done in the future education of teachers and therapists with a simple understanding of how to quickly help people make correct decisions.

There could be nothing more important than education of the Self for a future of fulfilled happy souls. There is no doubt in my mind that there is a special place for everyone in the flock.

J: How can Human Design help people tap into their genius? And is it only for young people?

D: It’s for people who want to get more aligned with a higher frequency. People who want the Divine to run their life. People like me who are interested in mapping the unconscious. People who are sick of being homogenized by a society that trains them to want to be what they are not, It is for people who wish to transcend the pull of the illusion, the genetic imperative or people who are deeply committed to ending their suffering. There are also many in the holistic field itself who could benefit as Human Design is truly holistic.It also has simple formulas to maintain perfect health.

I’ve been amazed at what Human Design can bring us. some call it the new zen of awakening. Amongst many other things, it can teach people about how their bodies assimilate food. Sometimes it is not so much the food that they eat, but the environment in which they’re eating the food. Environmental eating patterns are hard wired into the body as the body changes with evolution. These strategies have been genetically present since 1861 yet humanity has not yet awakened to these genetic internal cellular shifts. There are also external environmental conditions necessary for health and all of this can be found in the Primary Health System of Huma Design. Place is also a genetic imperative. If one lives in a non hard wired environment as I did, one’s health fails. It’s very reassuring to know how your body works- to recognize, feel and see the signposts of what it is like to follow your Spirit. For newborns, it is extraordinary for their parents to know their individualized assimilation pattern as this is crucial to opening up the cognitive potential of a child.. In short Human Design is best practiced with parents of newborns who are open to this new information that releases their child’s cognitive potential . I have envisioned what would happen in 20 years if only a small percentage of the newborn population released their genie within. I have no doubt that Einstein’s intelligence would be passed without question.

In the field of psychology, Human Design has brought us eons further in understanding how the conscious and unconscious work together bringing us into this illusion of form. It shows us what the motivating a person in the fullfillment their higher purpose. Higher purpose must be aligned with the DNA-based motivation. Sometimes, transference will happen where people transfer their motivation from one motivation to another. This is an entirely different meaning of the word transference. When this happens, people are misaligned, and they’ll begin to feel it affecting their happiness quotient! Human Design makes us better mechanics in terms of how our bodies operate-an essential element for the soul’s comfort here. Human Design is a truly holistic---- the HOLI STIC science here to free the Spirit. The body unconscious can be seen so clearly in the map of Being. Freud and Jung would be dancing on their graves to see this amazing emerging science.. When people truly get it, there will be a huge surge of tolerance for each other and a deep respect of each other as differentiated sparks. I have a quiet place for contemplation and writing near Asheville, NC. Many of my students have spread the word about HD and one can see a new language beginning as people meet each other and proudly ask to know each other’s type and profile. It is the beginning of true respect.

Really, it is simple. Human Design is a technique or tool that has the potential to organize humanity into natural fractals. It can potentially allow us to be in the world but not of it. So much of humanity in the western world is misaligned with who they are. They operate from what is called the shadow or not self. As you get to study and deeply see the Self with a capitol S, you start to recognize it more easily in your life. The genius within is essentially what happens when the Spirit of the Self is liberated and free to be its unique differentiated state with its unique perceptions. Ideally this starts at birth. Our generation will be the bridge to the sacred whole humans of the future. We are called homo transitus. We are here to help the unfolding awareness of Spirit Consciousness for the upcoming time of Homo Sanctus.

I’ve always been fascinated by the word human. If you break it up into HU and MAN, it means Supreme God’s man.

Ra’s given name by the voice( that transmitted this science which has been verified on the surface- neutrinos have mass etc) was RA URU HU

RA MEAN SUN URU MEAN YOU ARE YOU AND HU MEANS SUPREME GOD. It is time for human to own their reflective Godship.

I have gone very far in my ponderings. Once a poem came out of me. It spoke of IS RA EL (El is another word for messiah) I am sure Ra if alive would deny this utterly and can hear him reiterate how we are all here to become messiahs of our own perfected form in one life.

Life is so full of surprises. As I listened to the radio the other day in the Bible belt, I hear someone say that an Israeli diplomat or cabinet member said : “If the devil had a plan for peace, we are now ready to listen.” While there are many ways to see this, I couldn’t help but remember in my early years in Design how I thought Ra was devilish. He had a very unique black sense of humor. He would talk about how easy it would be to blow up a planet with a virus. He carried gate 48, the gate of the well- great depth-black magic while I carried gate 11- the gate of peace and white magic. My body froze that anyone could or would contemplate such a thing as blowing up a planet- something our Creator made. I could not comprehend his dark jokes at first but have certainly grown in my tolerance and acceptance of what exists in this illusionary world and have found it one of the greatest life lessons--that the dark serves the Light in this illusion. Dark experiences bring us back to eventually learning about the peace of the Light. I have come to appreciate his black humor and undoubtedly his enormous contribution to humanity as a clarion investigator.

RA however connotates the sun and it is the frequencies conscious and unconscious of the sun that we come into our individuated soul purpose for BEING. We can get to know ourselves (URU) as a reflection of(HU) supreme God!!! We all need to get to know ourselves. A colleague from my days at the psychoanalytic institute put on a HD seminar in Sarasota a few years ago and she invited many doctors and therapists who brought some of their clients with them saying”Lets all go and get to know who we are” As funny as it sounds, this was a colleague who was here to bring radical change into the world. What fun it will be when more doctors and therapists can be open to allowing themselves to learn about buried parts of their divine design.

To me Self Education will be the messiah of a sanctified world.

J: You have so much courage in leaving something that many people are still practicing (psychoanalysis), and following your heart in pursuing something that has not yet become mainstream. You’re pursuing something that gives you joy – you light up when you talk about it! How were you able to do that? So many people I know are stuck doing something that they do not believe in because it gives them a living. And it looks so good, you have your name with Ph.D on the door. It’s a highly respected profession. What do you think happens, when you start pursuing something that is real by your internal standards, in terms of meaning and joy, but not by external standards – yet! How can people learn from you, and how can they tap into this courage?

D: Thank you. It has been a lonely and isolated ride but I feel happier than ever before in my life. It felt as if I had no choice, like an instrument that needed tuning. If you fight the tune up, you end up getting a discordant, depressed, survival orientation. Most people don’t recognize that the human form is an illusion when all is said and done and it is the Spirit that matters- our very own individualized Spirit- that makes us joyful. That translates into doing what is reliable and consistent from within. This becomes the actualized sacred human life. You said it well when you saw it as following the heart. There is a large key to the future in operating from the balanced heart. I have always seen this in the hidden letters of earth itself. If you take the h in earth and put it in front of the e, you get HEART!

It is the simplest thing to do yet the hardest of all things for most humans. To be surrendered and at one with one’s true nature. It is very satisfying and peaceful for me. It is why I see a collective universal flag of peace as a white flag- a collective reminder that peace is living out our divine perfected human nature. This nature we came in with at the moment of birth-not the conditioned Self in which we can be good or bad and get easily lost therein.

It is wonderful for people to delve into their purpose in the illusion. I call it the icing on the cake that comes in after 50. Some people have it pretty easy, but I had a large shift at that time. I carry, as one third of humanity does, a genetic potential of transcendence. If I don’t live it, I will die. It is a privilege to be in one of these bodies. It was sometimes, however, a very lonely journey. I was the object of much ridicule by family and others. I sense much of it comes from their fear of seeing someone go against the traditional way. It is so hard for so many to appreciate the fact that we all have our own journey, process or contract with Spirit. What is that phrase-“If it doesn’t kill you, it strengthens you” This is what has been happening to me. It is like a sacred marriage between the elements that are me. As I stick with me, making decisions correctly according to my own inner authority, I become my own law. I see and feel the empowerment of my design- the individual part of me that is here to bring change to the world by merely being myself. It is hard to love oneself if one does not know the hard wiring. We can even see what environment will be healthy for me from 50-67 and from 67-84 years of age. While human design is an experience and not an intellectual pursuit, I found it fun to check out signposts of my alignment with my design. I will give you an example of what I mean by knowing yourself. I am hard wired to write poetry and make music yet as I child I was so repressed and scared. I was told by a choir director at age 6 to simply to move my mouth and not let out any sounds. I grew up believing I was tone deaf and yet recently after following my design imperative and decision making strategy for seven years, I began to sing. I began writing music and a morning doesn’t go by when I don’t sing the universal anthem I wrote. Studying, the hard wiring of my vehicle, has allowed me to see the gifts that actually come very naturally if I’m surrendered to my hard wiring. One might even call it surrendering to the image in which we were made in this dimension. My happiness soars from simply being myself. It is also relieving to know that there is nothing wrong with me. People who are designed with individual circuitry are often seen as different. They can feel they don’t belong if not with people with similar circuitry or people who deeply respect differences.

We are all perfectly designed to be ourselves when we follow our inner authority for personal decisions. Perfection is the name of the out of the box game we need to play on planet earth!! It has been given a poor rap. We come here perfectly perfect for a ride. If only each of us could know how perfect we are, we could relax and enjoy watching where the ride takes us.!! The first chapter of Genesis reflects it well in saying we are all made in the image of God and therefore Spirits and spiritual. I believe Human Design was downloaded as the science of life in the illusion for a reason. Without a deeper connectedness to the Self, loving our neighbor and peace is near impossible. If we don’t know what the Self is, how can we love ourselves and allow ourselves to flourish? How could we possibly love our neighbor when we don’t understand ourselves? This planet is filled with self hatred that moves across borders to our neighbors- treating neighbors as if they too have no Self. Parents are often at a loss in deeply knowing their child and only wish for their children to be homogenized, fitting in when in fact they are each so so beautifully different and differentiated. It is truly through understanding uniqueness that each person’s gift can be released.

If you bring it all together in a circle, it’s all about love corny as it sounds. As a psychoanalyst, it was my love for the client that enabled me to see their strengths and be of service. Human Design is simply an extension of that. While based on the utmost scientific complexity, it is simple to show someone the great hard wired gifts they carry and an individualized decision making strategy which will de-condition them from faulty conditioning over 7 years as they practice their hard wired inner authority. Therein lies their genius and it doesn’t take an expensive process to actualize oneself. We are moving toward globalization and it becomes imperative for there to be equal access to Self education for all. We are all one when all is said and done. Each one of us is Spirit animated. As people begin to live their differentiation they will finding their very specific place in the flock and healthy.

Human Design is a tool to be considered and experienced by science oriented educators. Up till now people are mainly learning through direct experiences. Through Human Design logic makes some headway, evolving us into the sanctification of humanity. Human Design could be seen as an intermediary step of having people experience their life from the logic of their inner authority and their life without it. Those of us who tired it know there is an enormous difference in the quality of the frequency of peace, satisfaction. success and surprise that comes from using inner authority for decisions. Yet each earthling must experience this for themselves in their own time. Parents and educators can have an enormous impact on stregthening the next generation to act from their higher Self wisdom.

The experience of the Higher Self is what mattered to me- nothing else.I had been ready to transition to my heavenly home when I found a formula for making heaven here now. I was very very lucky.

It took me many years to understand how Human Design brought me and others to a higher frequency. One must prove it to themselves. It is a bit like salvation in that regard! It is one’s own choice to enter this grand experiment or not.

J: Do you think it should be simple for us to figure out aging?

D: We overcomplicate everything. It would be simpler if we could trust our basic nature, trust that the answers lie within us. There isn’t a question that can’t be answered by going within. If you know what your blueprint decision making strategy is, it can be strengthening to keep following it and see that life flows in a way that it didn’t before. It’s the difference between meeting resistance and not meeting resistance in our lives. If you’re meeting resistance, swimming upstream, something needs to be looked at, and the energy around it needs to be freed up in some way. When one lives a life of little resistance, one is one with their Maker. There is only Truth and Love there, Love for Self and Others.

Aging is just like any other stage in life- it is about how much Love you feel within and share with others. The more one’s attitude is that of gratitude and acceptance, the more empowered one can feel.Ultimately for me, it was unconditional radical Self love that brought me into a higher frequency where the wholeness of perfection is felt. In this state, the soul is ageless and my health has been restored. I am healthier now then when I was a child.

J: What brings you the most joy?

D: Right now, sharing with people who already are awakened like you or interested in deeper awareness and understanding of themselves and their potential. I receive great joy allowing creation that flows within me making art. I love to see people thrive physically, emotionally and mentally as a result of understanding the perfection of all things. Just last week someone said they felt liberated after we spoke. They looked at the picture in my office and said they felt like the picture - two half circles were coming together. This brought me joy as does my daughter when her light shines and she lives her own design with a clean frequency. I also love to ponder, contemplate and feng shui environments I enter. I’ve had fun renovating many homes in this life and treating land as if it is a canvass. I am now joyfully creating a sustainable retreat center that will allow others to experience and contemplate their Divinity through their Design. I sometimes call it :

I shall welcome those who need more time for deeper acceptance and understanding of themselves. Each one that aligns with their design can use it as a stepping stone into the fulfillment of purpose. My design is weighted towards focus and concentration on something logical. This is what brings me joy- further developing my inborn gift. I have given design fourteen years of study with more to go. Only someone hard wired to do this,can do it with joy.

Much joy emerges as I see Self education and the wellness it brings. I feel an imperative to set up a parental portal for this reason. A portal that helps us see the perfection of Spiritual Being unfolding in children. What a joy to watch a child grow naturally into their hard wired gifts as they use their very own decision making tool. The gift of knowing how to best communicate with a child, how to feed them based on their differentiated DNA, to have twenty years to acknowledge their best way to make decisions. At 28-32 they will be drawn to certain environments that are correct and healing for them. These places will ground their body in their higher destiny as well as their sustainability. Parents can be relieved to know their children are strong within. Life is made up of decisions. Knowing your child has learned this is tantamount to a healthy functioning family.

In the river of life, it is comforting to know that each can carry a cleaner frequency as they follow the signatures of their Being or True nature.
